Will QAIO replace my regular bathroom mirror?

Yes, with QAIO, you don’t need to use any other mirror in your bathroom.

If the TV is turned off, you don’t see the TV anymore?

Correct. The TV completely vanishes when turned off and will show only as a mirror.

For bathroom use, is QAIO safe?

Yes, the complete mirror is powered by 24 volts. This is very low and completely safe to use in a wet area. Also, the important components are safely placed in the special compartment, protected against moisture and dust.

How do I upgrade QAIO?

QAIO comes with the latest Android version pre-installed. You can easily update the system through online updates. QAIO is designed in a modular way. With this, you can also update the Android hardware if needed after a few years.

What do I need for Installation?

QAIO comes complete with everything you need. All you need to do is mount 2 rails to the wall, connect QAIO to power, hang the mirror against the wall, and connect to Wi-Fi.

Is QAIO Wi-Fi ready?

Yes. Once powered up, you can connect to your local Wi-Fi network. You can also connect to a LAN cable.

Why do I need a camera?

Several great apps require a camera: some for make-up applications and some for taking photos. QAIO comes standard with a high-quality camera hidden behind the mirror. Camera can easily be disabled.

What about the privacy of having a camera in the bathroom?

Because privacy is always a concern, you can easily disable the camera whenever you want to and the camera cannot be used.

Can I connect the audio to my audio system?

Yes, there is an audio output (non-amplified, 3.5mm jack) and you can connect to any audio system.

Can QAIO be made in any size and shape?

Yes, QAIO is available in standard and custom sizes. With our CNC mirror cutting technology, we can make any size and shape. Please contact your distributor for more information.

How heavy is a QAIO?

The weight of the mirror depends on the size of the mirror and the configuration, but you can use 4LBS per sq. ft. as a good guideline.

What about Alexa? How does this work?

QAIO has a built-in microphone which allows you to ask Alexa questions verbally. Alexa then answers your questions by displaying it on the screen as well as through audio which is made possible through QAIO’s built-in speakers. For privacy reasons, you will need to activate Alexa with a touch on the screen. How do I clean the mirror?

You can clean the mirror with any glass cleaner, or alcohol.
Be careful: If you have a new bathroom construction or renovation, construction dust may get on the mirror and cleaning may damage the mirror (like any other mirror). To avoid scratches, keep the protective film on the mirror until construction is finished and the area is cleaned up.

How difficult is it to program all the functions on a QAIO?

With the Android feature; there are endless number of applications that can be used and installed with new applications coming out daily. We will install the Smart Application which provides you with the weather, stock quotes and reminders. This only needs to be turned on to work well. Other apps that requires purchasing can also be used. (An app costs around $2.00)
